Aryaa Bhatia is Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Archangel Health, a Y Combinator F26 company building infrastructure to make AI safe enough to practice medicine.
Aryaa studies IEOR and EECS at UC Berkeley and was previously a research intern at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. He founded his first clothing brand at 15 and later built Origins Customs in high school, scaling it to $70K per year in revenue with an in-house manufacturing operation.
Aryaa co-founded Plureto, which built tactile-sensing robotics hardware with pilots across hospitals and farms and reached a $2.5M valuation. He also founded LingoSage and was building tactile gloves for robotics training before pivoting to healthcare AI with Tej Patel.
Archangel Health is backed by Y Combinator and has raised $125K, with a two-person founding team based in San Francisco. The company provides RL environments inside real de-identified EHRs, physician-verified training data, and clinical reasoning benchmarks.
Archangel Health is used today by frontier labs and medical AI companies, with a network of credentialed physicians and over 20 clinical data products. The company is now moving toward post-training open-source models for health systems on their own data and physician judgment.
