London-born Asif began his hospitality career at 16 at the Holiday Inn Kings Cross and later completed executive education at MIT Sloan, building over two decades of hands-on hotel and facilities management expertise.

Asif is a strong advocate for ethical AI, ensuring guest data is never used to train AI models and that technology enhances rather than replaces the human touch in hospitality.

Prior to Inntelo AI, Asif led UK expansions for hotel tech platforms Optii, Knowcross, and LEVIY, and in 2020 founded ariia, an award-winning contactless guest experience platform recognised at the Resorts and Retreats Awards.

Inntelo AI has raised over £626K in total funding from Antler, Haatch, British Business Bank, and Look AI Ventures, achieving a 71% guest opt-in rate and a 27% boost in in-stay revenue across hotel deployments in the UK, UAE, and Europe.
