Aurimas graduated from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business (Executive Leadership Program) and previously co-founded Paysolut, a core banking platform acquired by fintech unicorn SumUp in 2021.
Aurimas is a serial entrepreneur with multiple successful exits including Paysolut (SumUp), DtecNet (MarkMonitor), Marguard (Prisync), and Data Logistics Center (Quaero Capital). His company DtecNet won a Gazelle award for 2400% growth during 2007-2009.
Copla raised 6M euros in Series A led by Iron Wolf Capital and reached seven-figure annual recurring revenue within just over a year of its seed round. The company now serves more than 100 regulated European customers.
Under Aurimas's leadership, Copla has automated compliance workflows that replace manual spreadsheets, keeping records of assets, vendors, risks, and controls current in real time for financial institutions across Europe.
