Ben Holland is Co-Founder and CTO at Antiverse, an AI-driven techbio company designing therapeutic antibodies for challenging drug targets like GPCRs and ion channels. He leads core technology strategy, R&D operations, and manages engineering and discovery teams in Cardiff and globally.
Ben holds an MEng in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford and has 14 years of commercial experience. He previously worked at Cambridge Consultants, Adlens, and joined Deep Science Ventures as an Executive Fellow in 2016 before co-founding Antiverse in 2017.
Ben co-developed the world's first antibody generator and is listed as an inventor on several patents. He has expertise in mathematical modelling, neural networks, and machine learning systems for antibody design.
Antiverse has raised over $20 million in total funding, including a $9.3 million Series A in 2026, and secured partnerships with multiple top-20 global pharmaceutical companies including Nxera Pharma. The company has successfully identified functional antibody clusters targeting GPCRs with nanomolar affinity.
Built on seven years of generative model training, Antiverse's platform enables rapid design of epitope-specific antibodies, moving from target identification to functional antibodies in six months. The company is advancing its first wholly owned candidates toward preclinical development by 2027 and has entered research agreements with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
