Ben Thompson is Co-Founder of RadiantOps, a seed-funded engineering intelligence platform based in Durango, Colorado, built to help engineering leaders navigate the age of AI-generated code.

Ben co-founded GitPrime in Durango in 2015, one of the first companies to measure engineering work from version control data, serving as its Chief Marketing Officer and helping shape the developer analytics category.

A Y Combinator alumni (W16 batch), Ben brings deep expertise in developer tooling, design, and go-to-market strategy, with a background spanning senior design roles at Sony and founding Studiofluid.

GitPrime was acquired by Pluralsight for $170 million in cash in 2019, validating the category Ben and his co-founders pioneered and spawning an entire generation of competitors.

RadiantOps launched out of stealth in September 2026 with $7 million in seed funding led by Foundation Capital, backed by Vermilion Cliffs Ventures, Essence, Vela and MKT1, targeting engineering organizations grappling with the rise of AI-driven development.
