Benjamin Constant is Co-Founder and President of NeoCem, a France-based industrial startup pioneering low-carbon cement solutions to decarbonize the global construction sector.
A graduate of IESEG's Grande Ecole Program (class of 1996), Benjamin spent over 20 years leading international subsidiaries of major groups in the textile and creative leisure industries across 10 countries before pivoting to impact entrepreneurship in 2014.
Driven by a quest for meaningful work, Benjamin joined Neo-Eco as a partner and co-founded NeoCem after recognizing that cement accounts for 8% of global CO2 emissions, with a personal mission to cut those emissions by up to 90%.
At NeoCem, Benjamin has led the company from R&D through to large-scale industrialization, securing a Series B round of 17M euros from Credit Mutuel Impact and launching the company's first production plant in St-Maximin near Paris in November 2025.
NeoCem is trusted by major European contractors including Eiffage, Bouygues, and Vinci, targeting 0.2 million tonnes of low-carbon cement per year, and has been recognized as a laureate of France's France 2030 national industrial program.
