Bharath Patil is the Co-Founder and CTO of Cradlewise, an AI-first consumer health company building intelligent smart cribs that sense, learn, and soothe babies to sleep using contactless sensor technology.

Bharath earned his MTech in Electronic Systems Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bengaluru and went on to serve as a Systems Engineering Lead and Member of Group Technical Staff at Texas Instruments.

At Texas Instruments, Bharath developed sensor technology that resulted in 15 patents and helped grow a business from proof of concept to a $20 million venture, showcasing his deep hardware and systems engineering expertise.

Inspired by sleepless nights as a new parent, Bharath co-founded Cradlewise in 2019 alongside his wife and CEO Radhika Patil, building a closed-loop AI sleep system that combines adaptive motion, contactless monitoring, and a connected app.

Cradlewise has raised $26 million in total funding, including a $12M Series A led by 3one4 Capital, won TIME's Best Inventions Award in 2020, and ships its smart cribs across the US, saving parents up to two hours of effort per day.
