
Brendan Iribe is Co-Founder and CEO of Sesame AI, an interdisciplinary product and research team building lifelike voice agents and AI-powered smart glasses for natural, human-like interaction.
Iribe attended the University of Maryland before dropping out to pursue a career as a game programmer, later co-founding Scaleform, the number one UI technology provider in the video game market, which Autodesk acquired in 2011.
After co-founding Oculus VR and leading its $2 billion acquisition by Facebook in 2014, Iribe went on to manage BIG Ventures, an early-stage venture fund, before launching Sesame in 2023.
At Sesame, Iribe has assembled an all-star founding team of Oculus and Meta veterans and secured $307M+ in total funding, including a $250M Series B led by Sequoia and Spark Capital.
