Bryan Hong is Co-Founder and CEO at Shofo, a Y Combinator W26 company building the largest index of short-form videos to create custom training datasets for AI labs. Shofo provides complete pipelines that collect, segment, sanitize, and label videos from across social media.
Bryan previously co-founded Correkt, an AI search engine focused on multimodal content that reached over 40,000 users before pivoting to become Shofo. He describes himself as an engineer, researcher, and entrepreneur.
Bryan and his co-founders (Andre Braga, Braiden Dishman, and Alexzendor Misra) met while building Correkt and successfully pivoted to address the critical need for high-quality video datasets in the AI industry. The team is part of Y Combinator's Winter 2026 batch.
Shofo runs an end-to-end pipeline that applies object and activity detection, reasoning, and segmentation to produce custom training datasets for AI labs. The company serves AI labs working with computer vision and has built what they describe as the largest index of short-form videos.
Under Bryan's leadership, Shofo is addressing a critical bottleneck in AI development by making high-quality, segmented video data accessible to AI labs. The previous venture, Correkt, demonstrated the team's ability to reach significant user scale with over 40,000 users.
