Campbell studied at the University of Canterbury and built deep engineering expertise as a Principal Software Engineer at Honey Insurance, Tech Lead at Ailo, and engineer at Macquarie, before founding and leading engineering at Epex.

Campbell brings rare cross-industry perspective, having seen firsthand how complex healthcare workflows can be transformed through intuitive, system-integrated products built for operational scale.

At Avoca Systems, Campbell co-leads a team backed by Y Combinator (S26) and is focused on solving radiology scheduling complexity across calls, faxes, e-referrals, and patient follow-up using AI.

Avoca Systems is already live across more than 250 clinics including networks operating 150+ locations, tackling a sector that makes up 10% of total US healthcare spend.
