
Chinedu Azodoh is Co-Founder and President at MAX (Metro Africa Xpress), Africa's largest electric mobility-tech platform transforming transportation across West and Central Africa. MAX provides vehicle subscriptions, financial services, and EV infrastructure for commercial drivers.
Chinedu holds a Master's in Finance from MIT Sloan School of Management and dual Bachelor's degrees in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology. He previously worked as an Analyst at Barclays Investment Bank and Goldman Sachs on Wall Street.
Chinedu was a 2019 Forbes Africa 30-under-30 finalist and received the prestigious Lila Self Leadership Academy Scholarship worth $200,000. He participated in the Techstars New York Accelerator and was admitted to the Alibaba eFounder Program under Jack Ma's guidance.
MAX has raised over $87 million in total funding, including a recent $24 million round in 2026, and achieved profitability in Nigeria. The company has deployed over $56 million in fleet financing and operates an assembly plant in Ibadan with capacity to produce 3,600 EVs monthly.
MAX aims to support 250,000 drivers by 2027 and surpass $150 million in annual recurring revenue. The platform is pioneering electric mobility infrastructure across Africa, addressing the continent's $100 billion transportation industry with sustainable, affordable solutions.
