
Chid Liberty is Co-Founder and CEO of Apprentos, an AI-driven tech platform revolutionizing workforce development through registered apprenticeships, and an award-winning social entrepreneur and impact investor with a career spanning entertainment, technology, and finance.
Chid holds an MBA from the University of Oxford (Said Business School) and previously co-founded Liberty and Justice in 2010, Africa's first Fair Trade Certified apparel factory, after returning to Liberia following 28 years abroad.
Chid is a 2020 Ashoka and IKEA Dela Globalizer Fellow and a 2018 C&A Fabric of Change Fellow, both recognizing social entrepreneurs driving system-level change in global supply chains, and was named one of Quartz's 30 groundbreaking African Innovators of 2017.
Beyond Apprentos, Chid served as Managing Partner at Liberty Friedman, an impact-driven private equity fund manager, and as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the University of Liberia's Monrovia Business Startup Center, while also serving as Adjunct Professor of Leadership at Parsons School of Design.
Apprentos won TIME Magazine's Best Innovations of 2025, and Chid was formally recognized by Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf in her 2011 State of the Nation Address for shaping trade policy and indigenous entrepreneurship across West Africa.
