Chris Hailey is Co-Founder and CTO at OS3 Robotics, a Y Combinator-backed company building semi-humanoid robots and proprietary AI models for physical labor in the real world.

Chris earned his undergraduate CS degree from USC on a Presidential Merit Scholarship, then pursued graduate studies in Robotics and AI at UCSD, conducting NLP research alongside Harvard Medical School and Georgia Tech.

A lifelong builder who wrote his first line of code at 13 and decided that same month to one day build a company called OS3, Chris also designed patented ML systems and trained LLMs at ServiceNow earlier in his career.

Prior to OS3, Chris served as a software engineer at Coinbase on the asset addition team, where his work generated over $19 billion in trading volume, and also turned a YC hackathon-winning project into a $10K MRR venture.

OS3 is already deploying its semi-humanoid robots in the hospitality sector, building both hardware and intelligence in-house from its San Francisco lab, backed by Y Combinator's Summer 2026 batch.
