
Chris Taylor is Founder and CEO of Aalyria, a Google spinout advancing space-based communications through network orchestration and laser technology. He is a national security expert who previously led Govini and served 14 years in the U.S. Marine Corps as an infantryman and Force Recon Marine.
Chris earned his MBA in Strategy and Leadership from William & Mary and an MPA in Political Economy and International Security from Harvard Kennedy School. He also founded Novitas Group, a talent platform for veterans used by U.S. Special Operations Command.
Chris served as Director of the Harvard Defense and Security Initiative and has testified before Congress on national security. He is a Lecturer at George Washington University School of Business and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Aalyria raised $100 million in Series B funding at a $1.3 billion valuation in February 2026, led by Battery Ventures and J2 Ventures. The company partners with Telesat, NASA, Airbus, the European Space Agency, and U.S. military services.
Aalyria's Spacetime platform orchestrates multi-orbit satellite networks in real time, enabling self-healing mesh networks across land, sea, air, and space. The technology demonstrated operational capability for over 150 U.S. Government leaders in 2023.
