Christian is Co-Founder at Orthogonal (YC W26), an agentic payments platform that enables AI agents and developers to access hundreds of APIs through a unified MCP or SDK without managing API keys or billing. Orthogonal is based in San Francisco and was founded in 2025.

Christian studied at McGill University where he met his co-founder Bera Sogut, and also holds a Master of Science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He previously worked on payments at Coinbase and billing infrastructure at Vercel, bringing deep expertise in financial infrastructure and API systems.

Christian and his co-founder have lived at the intersection of payments and API infrastructure, uniquely positioning them to solve the problem of enabling AI agents to discover and transact with APIs. The founding team met at McGill and have been close friends since.
