Dr. Christina Porter is Co-Founder and CEO of Invisix Measuring Systems, a deep-tech semiconductor metrology startup headquartered in Eindhoven, Netherlands, developing next-generation soft X-ray measurement systems for advanced chip manufacturing.
Porter spent seven years at ASML working on advanced metrology, where she and co-founder Sietse van der Post incubated the core soft X-ray technology that would become Invisix, before spinning out the company in 2025.
A PhD physicist, Porter leads with the conviction that semiconductor manufacturers cannot build what they cannot see, driving Invisix to develop tools that inspect buried nanoscale structures without destroying them.
Prior to founding Invisix, Porter built deep expertise in semiconductor metrology and advanced optics at ASML, one of the world's most critical companies in the global chip supply chain.
Invisix has raised an oversubscribed EUR 20 million seed round from Hitachi Ventures, Transition Ventures, imec.xpand, and Doosan Investment Co., and has already validated its technology through collaborations with Intel and imec on next-generation gate-all-around transistor architectures.
