Christophe is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Quantonation, the world's largest venture capital fund dedicated to quantum technologies and deep physics. Quantonation has invested in 38+ companies globally across quantum computing, sensing, communications, and advanced physics.

Christophe holds a PhD in Quantum Physics from Ecole Polytechnique under Nobel Prize winner Prof. Alain Aspect, with a focus on laser cooling of atoms. He held government and executive positions in energy, defense, and quantum computing in Europe and the US, and worked as Head of Business Development at QC Ware in Silicon Valley before co-founding Quantonation in 2018.

Christophe was selected among the 20 Influential Individuals in Quantum Tech by Quantum Zeitgeist. He serves as an associate at Creative Destruction Lab and co-founded PASQAL, a leading neutral atom quantum computing company, alongside Nobel laureate Alain Aspect.

Quantonation I raised 91 million euros and invested in 27 companies with 2 exits, while Quantonation II closed at 220 million euros in February 2026, making it the largest dedicated quantum investment firm globally by AUM. Portfolio companies include PASQAL, Multiverse Computing, Qubit Pharmaceuticals, and Nord Quantique.

Quantonation has monitored over 600 quantum startups and invested across Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific, partnering with top research institutions including MIT, Oxford, Ecole Polytechnique, and University of Waterloo. The fund focuses on transforming quantum science into commercially viable products addressing challenges in healthcare, climate change, cybersecurity, and high-performance computing.
