Cole Lewis, PhD, is Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Cloverleaf Bio, a Yale spinout pioneering engineered tRNA therapeutics to transform cancer treatment.

Cole earned his PhD in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry at Yale University, where his foundational research in RNA biology seeded the science behind Cloverleaf Bio.

Cole was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Healthcare class of 2024, recognizing his work translating novel tRNA science into a new class of oncology therapeutics.

Under Cole's scientific leadership, Cloverleaf Bio secured a $33M oversubscribed seed round led by 4BIO Capital, with strategic backing from AbbVie Ventures, Eli Lilly, and Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund.

Cloverleaf's tRNA platform demonstrated significantly greater potency and selectivity for cancer cells over healthy tissue in preclinical studies, with lead programs targeting hepatocellular carcinoma and colorectal cancer advancing toward the clinic.
