Colin Elsinga is Co-Founder and COO at Metriport, the world's first open-source universal API platform for healthcare data intelligence, backed by Y Combinator (S22) and Matrix.

Colin and co-founder Dima Goncharov, longtime friends of over 15 years, left their software engineering careers in 2021 to build Metriport after first launching a consumer health and quantified-self app called myMomentum.

A software engineer and designer at heart, Colin brings a rare blend of technical depth and creative thinking, having also worked as a freelance musician, composer, and film boom operator earlier in his career.

As COO, Colin oversees operations, strategy, and cross-functional collaboration, and played a pivotal role in guiding Metriport through the Y Combinator S22 accelerator and into partnerships with Amazon One Medical, Sollis Health, and Color Health.

Metriport has raised $28.4M in total funding, achieved HITRUST r2 Certification, and is redefining how clinicians access comprehensive patient records at the point of care by replacing legacy fax-based workflows with a single, open-source API.
