Dan Shprung is Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer at Geniez AI, an enterprise GenAI framework that connects large language models and AI agents to real-time mainframe data, enabling enterprises to unlock legacy infrastructure without costly migrations.

Dan holds a BA in Business Management from Netanya Academic College and an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Tel Aviv University, and brings over 20 years of B2B enterprise sales experience.

Dan and co-founder Gil Peleg are both graduates of the Israel Defense Forces' elite Mamram computing unit, giving them a rare combination of deep technical and go-to-market expertise in the mainframe space.

Prior to Geniez AI, Dan served as CRO at Model9, a mainframe modernization startup he co-built that was acquired by BMC Software in 2023, after which he served as Sales Director for AMI Cloud at BMC.

In just one year, Geniez AI raised $6M in Seed funding from StageOne Ventures and Canapi Ventures, attracted Fortune 500 clients, and was acquired by Rocket Software in October 2026 in a deal estimated at up to $100 million.
