Daneesh Davar is Co-Founder of The Func. Lab, a Mumbai-based clean-label nutrition startup redefining transparency and trust in India's supplement industry.

With a career spanning luxury branding and marketing, Daneesh held leadership roles at Vogue India, GQ India, and Audi Singapore, and co-founded the fitness community SOHFIT.

A mother and brand strategist passionate about debunking nutrition myths, Daneesh saw firsthand how women, parents, and everyday consumers were failed by an industry built on confusion and overhyped claims.

Leveraging her expertise in brand identity and storytelling, she joined forces with fitness coach Sohrab Khushrushahi and entrepreneur Sahil Kukreja to launch The Func. Lab in 2025, backed by a $1.5M seed round from marquee investors including Nisaba Godrej and Anand Piramal.

The Func. Lab targets revenues of Rs. 12 to 15 crore in its first year and is expanding across D2C, quick commerce, and offline retail channels across India.
