Daniel Crespo is Founder and CEO of Muyu Education, an Ecuadorian EdTech company transforming teacher development across Latin America through AI-powered coaching and feedback.

Daniel earned a double degree in Journalism and Philosophy from Universidad de los Andes in Chile, later completing a Master's in Educational Quality Management at Universidad del Desarrollo, before serving as Vice Minister of Education in Ecuador.

Drawing on 16 years of experience across Chile and Ecuador's education ministries, Daniel identified a critical gap in teacher training and founded Muyu to bridge it with technology, stating that world-class edtech can be built from Ecuador.

Prior to Muyu, Daniel served as National Coordinator for Educational Improvement at Chile's Ministry of Education and as Vice Minister of Education in Ecuador, and is a member of the Latin American Coalition for Teaching Excellence and UNESCO's Latin American Network of Education Policy Specialists.

Muyu reached US$30,000 in revenue within just four months of launch in 2023, operates in Ecuador, Chile, Peru, and Colombia, projects US$300,000 in annual revenue for 2025, and has attracted investment from IMPAQTO Capital to scale across the region.
