Daniel holds a PhD in Computational Physics from the Instituto de Física de São Carlos at the Universidade de São Paulo, where he specialized in MRI, magnetic resonance, and software engineering.
Described as a brilliant physicist and engineer, Daniel was a critical collaborator in building multiple portable MRI machines and is known for his proficiency in full-stack Python development and scientific software infrastructure.
At Adialante, Daniel leads software infrastructure development and previously served as a key engineer at the University of Minnesota's Garwood Lab, where he implemented advanced MRI software platforms and management tools.
Adialante has raised over $3M in funding, including a $1.18M NSF SBIR Phase II grant, and is backed by Y Combinator and Fogarty Innovation, targeting the 90% of the world that currently lacks access to MRI technology.
