Darth Vaughn serves as Associate General Counsel and Managing Director of Policy Operations+ at Ford Motor Company, where he leads teams focused on legal innovation and the responsible use of artificial intelligence. He has over 23 years of experience as an attorney and is recognized as a driving force in applying AI to improve legal outcomes.

Darth holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University, a Juris Doctor from University of Southern California, and a Master of Real Estate Development from USC. Prior to joining Ford in July 2020, he was Partner and Director of Legal Service Delivery at Sanders Roberts, LLP, and previously worked as a business technology consultant with Accenture.

Darth has extensive expertise in AI application to legal practice and helped make Ford's legal department one of the first to successfully onboard and utilize generative AI. He serves on the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation board and is an incoming CLOC Board Member for 2026.

At Ford, Darth leads litigation counsel responsibilities and manages legal operations and technology platforms that deliver efficient legal services. He works on emerging legal issues related to electric and autonomous vehicles while designing scalable, ethical systems that make legal operations a strategic business driver.

Under his leadership, Ford has become an industry pioneer in applying artificial intelligence to legal and policy operations. Ford's legal team won multiple 2024 Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards including Best Use of AI, Most Innovative Legal Ops, and Innovator of the Year.
