David Howorth is Co-Founder of Avvoka, a London-based LegalTech platform building AI-powered drafting infrastructure for law firms and corporate legal teams worldwide.

David began his career as a trainee solicitor at Magic Circle firm Linklaters, where firsthand experience of repetitive, high-volume legal drafting sparked his vision for a better solution.

Leveraging deep domain expertise as a practising lawyer, David co-founded Avvoka with the conviction that legal drafting is an infrastructure problem, not merely a tooling one.

David co-founded Avvoka alongside Eliot Benzecrit in 2016, growing it largely bootstrapped before securing a landmark £14M growth round from Valhalla Ventures in 2026 to accelerate US expansion.

Avvoka's platform is now adopted by over 20% of the Am Law 100, including A&O Shearman, Ropes & Gray, and Fried Frank, as well as in-house teams at multinationals such as Warner Bros. Discovery.
