
Dr. David Khachaturov is Co-Founder and CTO of Egoist Machines, Inc., a Y Combinator-backed AI infrastructure startup building the next generation of consumer AI data portability tools.
David earned a BA in Computer Science from Cambridge, an MSc in Advanced Computer Science from Oxford, and completed a PhD in Machine Learning Security at Cambridge, where he was elected a Bye-Fellow at St Catharine's College at just 25 years old.
David is a published researcher in adversarial machine learning and is also an advisor at FrontierOne, a sovereign AI security startup, bringing deep expertise across ML infrastructure, security, and academic research.
At Egoist Machines, David serves as the technical architect behind AI Passport and LodeDB, the world's fastest and most compact embedded vector database, with the company accepted into Y Combinator and backed by its network.
Egoist Machines launched the AI Passport waitlist in July 2026, targeting the 82% of consumers who view AI data loss-of-control as a serious threat, with general availability planned for Summer 2026.
