David is Co-Founder at Duna, an AI-native business identity platform that helps fintech companies and banks onboard business customers 10 times faster through automated compliance and verification. Duna has raised over 40 million euros and serves enterprise clients including Plaid, Fiserv, and Adyen.

David spent six years at Stripe where he led product teams for the company's largest global division, including the core card payment platform. He also held an executive role at Trade Republic, the 14 billion dollar plus broker, and started his career at McKinsey & Company.

David and co-founder Duco van Lanschot are building a global trust infrastructure to provide digital passports for every business. The platform has helped customers achieve 10.6x faster onboarding and 4.8x productivity gains while turning compliance from a cost center into a revenue driver.

Duna raised a 30 million euro Series A led by CapitalG (Alphabet's growth fund) in February 2026, following a 10.7 million euro seed round led by Index Ventures in May 2025. Angel investors include former executives from Stripe, Adyen, Snowflake, and Goldman Sachs.

Duna is addressing the 50 billion euro identity verification market and has become the best-funded European startup founded by Stripe alumni. The platform enables businesses to share verified credentials across platforms, eliminating redundant checks and reducing fraud.
