Derek Feebrey is Co-Founder and CEO of Trendspek, a Sydney-based infrastructure software company delivering AI-powered 3D asset analysis and Precision Reality Twin technology for critical infrastructure owners and engineers worldwide.

Derek spent over a decade as a Qantas airline pilot, beginning as a bush pilot before flying internationally, and in 2013 co-founded Hoverscape, one of Australia's first commercial drone businesses specialising in asset inspections.

Driven by firsthand experience of how asset managers relied on inspecting only a fraction of a structure and making assumptions about the rest, Derek set out to build a complete, auditable data solution that eliminated guesswork from infrastructure management.

Derek co-founded Trendspek in 2018 alongside Fiona Church and Mitch Deam, secured a $6.3M Series A in 2022 led by Taronga Ventures, and most recently raised an additional A$6M led by OIF Ventures in September 2026 to fuel expansion into North America and Europe.

Trendspek's platform now serves over 860 organisations across more than 1,700 sites, has completed 128,000 virtual site visits, and has grown its critical-infrastructure client base by 165% annually over the past three years.
