Dr. Deepak Veeregowda is Co-Founder and CEO at QT Sense, a quantum sensing company revolutionizing disease diagnostics at the single-cell level. He brings 15 years of experience in engineering and entrepreneurship to advance biomedical quantum technology.

Deepak holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and served as Director at Ducom Instruments B.V., where he led marketing, sales, and business development in high-tech sectors including healthcare and engineering. He also worked as an Investment Manager at RUG Ventures, supporting early-stage startups in the Groningen ecosystem.

Deepak combines deep expertise in mechanical engineering, biomedical science, and innovation strategy, having completed an Executive Program in Innovation. His background spans tribology research, product development, and venture capital, uniquely positioning him to commercialize quantum sensing technology.

QT Sense raised 10M euros in total funding, including equity from Cottonwood Technology Fund and QDNL Participations, plus grants from Interreg Europe and ONCO-Q. The company launched its flagship product Quantum Nuova, a single-cell Nano-MRI platform deployed at University Medical Center Groningen for sepsis diagnostics research.
