Abetharan Antony is Co-Founder and Chief Technology and Product Officer at Zenithon, a London-based AI lab building world models for extreme physics. He leads the technology behind models that simulate rockets, fusion reactors and semiconductor fabs in milliseconds.
Abetharan earned a BSc in Physics at UCL, then an MSc and a PhD in Plasma and High-Temperature Physics at Imperial College London. He then worked as a Computational Plasma Physicist at General Fusion, developing magnetohydrodynamic models.
During his PhD he built a 1-D radiation hydrodynamics code called HyKiCT from scratch. He is also a Certified ScrumMaster and holds a Google Project Management certification.
Zenithon raised a $10M seed round led by Backed VC, with Lunar Ventures, Seraphim Space, MMC Ventures and SOSV participating. The funds go toward training larger models, compute and growing the team in London and San Francisco.
Zenithon's models aim to explore a million design points in the time it takes to simulate one. Its Nova world model, trained across plasma and fluid physics, predicts system behavior in milliseconds, and early work with fusion companies is already in daily workflows.
