AJ Asver is Co-Founder and CEO of Grep AI, a YC-backed company building self-improving AI agents that automate tedious, high-stakes operational work for enterprises in fintech and beyond.

AJ holds an MA in Computer Science from the University of Oxford and built AI products at Google, led Data Product at Coinbase, and served as Director of Product at Brex, where he witnessed firsthand how manual workflows bottleneck business growth.

A four-time founder and YC alum, AJ sold his first startup, Scoopler (YC S08), to Google at age 25 and has spent over a decade at the intersection of AI, fintech, and enterprise product.

At Grep AI, AJ and his co-founder Miguel Rios built on three years of work at Parcha Labs, serving clients including Airwallex, Worldpay, Citizens Bank, and Shopmonkey, automating over 250,000 hours of operational work in compliance, onboarding, and underwriting.

Grep AI achieved state-of-the-art results on three major deep research benchmarks, surpassing Perplexity, Google, Nvidia, OpenAI, and Anthropic, while its AgentRun harness reduced compliance agent costs by up to 91%.
