
Akshay Narisetti is Co-Founder and CEO at Pocket (YC W26), an AI-powered note-taking device that captures and organizes conversations with studio-quality hardware. At 23, he rejected multiple job offers from Google to build his own venture.
Akshay studied Computer Science at SRM University and is currently pursuing a Master's at Georgia Tech. He was selected as one of 16 individuals globally for the prestigious Augmentation Lab residency at Harvard and MIT in 2024.
Previously co-founded DoxyChain, a blockchain document infrastructure for enterprises. He gained recognition for hacking Google's Chrome Dino game and was a Google Summer of Code 2022 participant, working on robotics and autonomous driving projects.
Pocket combines custom hardware with AI software to create an intelligent voice recorder with 4-day battery life, offline capability, and multi-language support. The device can transcribe, summarize, and create action items from meetings, lectures, and phone calls.
Previously built one of the world's largest open-source AI note-taking devices used by thousands of users. Pocket was founded in 2024 and is part of Y Combinator's Winter 2026 batch, based in San Francisco.
