Alisher Akbarov is Co-Founder and COO at Comfi, a B2B embedded finance platform disrupting SME lending across MENA with a goal to reach $1B in transaction volume.

Alisher studied Computer Science at ISMA and Business Administration at the University of Latvia, and previously led software development teams at Buduar and Wings.ae.

Alisher was recognized as one of the Top 20 Uzbek Entrepreneurs Under 35. He brings extensive expertise in fintech operations, software development, and process optimization.

Comfi raised $65M in Pre-Series A funding led by Iliad Partners, with participation from Yango Ventures, Raw Ventures, Partners for Growth, and Shorooq. The platform has processed over 15,000 invoices and serves more than 1,000 clients.

Comfi enables SME suppliers to offer up to 90-day payment terms while getting paid within 24 hours, unlocking working capital and transforming B2B trade finance across the region.
