Amr Sultan is Co-Founder and CEO of blnk, an Egyptian AI-powered fintech platform dedicated to enabling financial inclusion through instant point-of-sale consumer financing.

Amr holds a BA in Business Administration from The American University in Cairo and is a CFA charterholder, bringing over 22 years of investment banking experience in Egypt.

In 2009, Amr co-founded Akanar Partners, a corporate finance and M&A advisory firm he led as Managing Director until 2016, when it was acquired by Arqaam Capital, where he then served as Managing Director of Corporate Finance.

At blnk, Amr has led the company to raise $37.1M in Series A equity and debt funding, with the equity round led by Algebra Ventures alongside SANAD Fund for MSME, Endeavor Catalyst, and Emirates International Investment Company.

Under Amr's leadership, blnk has surpassed one million customers, achieved profitability in 2025 with 173% year-on-year revenue growth, and built a loan portfolio exceeding EGP 1 billion, with 75% of users previously unbanked and over 35% women.
