Anthony Garetto is CEO and Co-Founder of Sapient Perception, a Copenhagen-based physical AI company building next-generation 10K sensor systems for mission-critical UAV operations in defense, security, and emergency response.

Anthony previously served as Chief Product Officer at Phase One, the Danish high-resolution imaging company, where he held direct responsibility for product, marketing, and R&D, and drove geospatial revenue from under 40% to over 70% of the business in three years. He also brings prior experience from Danaher Corporation and the ZEISS Group, and holds a Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School Online.

Anthony co-founded Sapient Perception alongside CTO Lau Norgaard and CBO Michael Messerschmidt, collectively bringing over 45 years of combined experience in sensor architecture, imaging technology, and defense markets. His vision centers on eliminating the coverage-versus-resolution tradeoff that limits modern drone operations.

Under Anthony's leadership, Sapient Perception raised a 2M euro pre-seed round co-led by Balnord and FORWARD.one, and launched ECHO, the world's first dedicated 10K sensor purpose-built for UAVs, capturing 100 million pixels versus the 2 million of conventional sensors. The company has partnered with Dropla Tech to integrate its sensors into UAVs supporting the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence for real-time landmine and threat detection.

Sapient Perception's sensors cover up to 100 times more area than conventional drone sensors at the same detailed resolution, enabling operators to identify and track multiple objects across vast areas in a single frame. The company is actively deploying across defense, security, and emergency response markets in Europe and North America, with additional stratospheric ISR platform integrations underway.
