Baiju Bhatt is the Founder and CEO of Aetherflux, a pioneering space-based solar power company on a mission to beam clean energy from orbit directly to Earth using infrared lasers.

A first-generation American of Gujarati descent, Bhatt earned a B.S. in Physics and an M.S. in Mathematics from Stanford University, where he met his future Robinhood co-founder Vlad Tenev.

Inspired by his father's career at NASA and driven by a lifelong passion for space, Bhatt is channeling his platform-building experience into solving one of the world's most critical energy challenges.

Bhatt co-founded Robinhood in 2013, serving as co-CEO until 2020 and Chief Creative Officer until 2024, helping grow the commission-free trading platform to over 20 million customers and a public listing on Nasdaq.

Aetherflux has raised $60 million in total funding, including a $50M Series A co-led by Index Ventures and Andreessen Horowitz, and secured U.S. Department of Defense backing for a 2026 satellite power-beaming demonstration.
