Berat Celik is Co-Founder and CEO of Stoa (YC S26), building pricing and trading infrastructure for the AI hardware market out of San Francisco.

Berat studied computer science and economics at UBC, then earned his M.Eng. in computer science from Cornell University before working at xAI, Elon Musk's AI company.

A repeat founder, Berat walked away from xAI to tackle one of the most fragmented and opaque markets in tech: the buying and selling of GPUs and AI hardware.

Alongside co-founders with backgrounds in derivatives trading at Citi and quantitative development in oil and gas, Berat brings a rare blend of technical depth and market-structure thinking to AI infrastructure.

Within its first month of launch, Stoa processed over $300M in RFQs, positioning itself as the institutional marketplace for AI hardware with verified counterparties and real-time price discovery.
