Braiden Dishman is Co-Founder and COO at Shofo (YC W26), a video dataset platform that builds custom training datasets for AI labs by indexing and labeling millions of hours of social media video. Shofo is backed by Y Combinator and is building the largest index of short-form videos with end-to-end pipelines for data collection, segmentation, and labeling.
Braiden earned a BA in Economics from UC Santa Barbara and previously worked at AWS before co-founding Shofo. He and his co-founders first built Correkt, an AI search engine focused on multimodal content that reached over 40,000 users before pivoting to become Shofo.
As COO, Braiden manages operations for a team of four based in San Francisco, overseeing the company's data pipeline infrastructure and client delivery systems. The founding team met while building their previous startup and brings complementary expertise in AI, data science, and business operations.
Shofo was founded in 2025 and participated in Y Combinator's Winter 2026 batch. The company addresses a critical need for AI labs that require massive, high-quality video datasets for training computer vision models.
Shofo has built the largest index of short-form videos and delivers custom annotated datasets for AI training. The platform enables AI labs to query specific video content, such as cooking videos with hand-object interactions, and receive cleaned, segmented datasets ready for model training.
