Bryce Schmidtchen is Co-Founder and CTO of Reactor, a San Francisco-based developer platform building the infrastructure layer for real-time generative video and AI world models.
Bryce studied at the University of California, Berkeley, where he built a VR teleoperation system at the Robot Learning Lab, and went on to serve as a core technical lead on the Apple Vision Pro spatial computing headset.
Bryce brings a rare combination of real-time systems expertise and spatial computing depth, having worked at the frontier of AR/VR hardware before pivoting to AI infrastructure.
At Reactor, Bryce leads the technical vision of a platform that partners with AI model labs, heavily optimizes their models, and serves them at ultra-low latency to developers via a unified SDK and API.
Reactor emerged from stealth in May 2026 with $59M in Series A funding led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, with backing from Jeffrey Katzenberg's WndrCo, and has already partnered with over a dozen AI labs and attracted demand from major film studios and robotics companies.
