Cameron Fiore is Co-Founder of Surtr Defense Systems, a Y Combinator-backed defense technology company building open infrastructure for warfighter interoperability and counter-UAS operations.

Prior to co-founding Surtr, Cameron gained experience in defense AI at Shield AI, a leading autonomous systems company, giving him deep insight into the gaps in battlefield software integration.

Cameron identified a critical market failure: proprietary C2 platforms that compete with their own hardware partners, monetize sensitive data, and create integration bottlenecks that slow warfighters down.

Surtr was accepted into Y Combinator's P26 batch, validating its mission to deliver an open, hardware-agnostic C2, data fusion, and AI decision platform for live operations.

Surtr's flagship product, ParallaxOS, fuses data from any radar, RF sensor, EO/IR camera, or acoustic array into a single unified operating picture with AI-driven threat classification and engagement recommendations.
