
Chad Hurley is Founder and CEO at EyeTell, an AI-powered platform that generates short-form video scripts and content using artificial intelligence. He is best known as co-founder and former CEO of YouTube, which he sold to Google for $1.65 billion in 2006.
Chad studied fine arts at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and worked at PayPal where he designed the original PayPal logo. He co-founded YouTube in 2005 with Steve Chen and Jawed Karim, serving as CEO until 2010.
Chad is a minority owner of the NBA's Golden State Warriors and MLS' Los Angeles Football Club. He also co-founded GreenPark Sports, a social sports gaming platform, and MixBit, a video editing app acquired by BlueJeans in 2018.
EyeTell raised seed funding in 2023 from A-Star Capital and SV Angel to revolutionize video creation with AI. Chad also serves as Co-Founder and Chairman at GreenPark Sports, which has raised over $67 million.
YouTube grew to become the world's largest video-sharing platform under Chad's leadership, fundamentally transforming how people consume and share video content globally. He was named to Business 2.0's 50 People Who Matter list and received an Emmy Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2019.
