Charles Pan is Co-Founder and CEO of Stage, a next-generation code review platform built for modern engineering teams, backed by Y Combinator.
Charles studied Computer Science at Stanford University (Class of 2022), where he also competed on the Varsity Fencing team, before working as a developer at Five Rings and as an early engineer at Yuzu Health.
Witnessing firsthand how fragmented and inefficient the code review process had become across both large companies and early-stage startups, Charles identified a critical gap and set out to solve it with Stage.
Charles brings a rare combination of experience from quantitative finance and high-growth startup environments, giving him deep insight into the engineering workflows that modern software teams rely on daily.
Stage, co-founded with Dean Stratakos, is part of the Y Combinator portfolio and is building the code review infrastructure for today's engineering teams, targeting the rapidly growing developer tools market.
