
Chris Paver is Co-Founder and COO at Dataro, an AI-powered fundraising intelligence platform serving over 300 nonprofits globally including World Central Kitchen, Amnesty International, and Save the Children. Based in San Francisco, Chris leads operations for the company that has raised $14.28M Series A.
Chris studied law at University of Technology Sydney and worked as a technology lawyer advising high-growth companies in tech and media on strategic and regulatory issues. He co-founded Dataro in 2018 alongside high-school friends Tim Paris and David Lyndon.
With a background in commercial law and passion for technology, Chris brings a unique lens to the nonprofit sector. He is a regular speaker on AI adoption, digital transformation, and the future of fundraising, and helps lead the Dataro Academy initiative.
Since co-founding Dataro in 2018, Chris has helped hundreds of fundraising teams modernize their approach using predictive analytics. Dataro expanded from Australia to the UK in 2022 and the US in 2023, securing $2.5M seed funding in 2021 and $14.28M Series A in 2026.
Under Chris's operational leadership, Dataro has grown to serve clients across 20+ countries and was named one of the top 10 fundraising innovations globally. The platform has helped organizations like Save the Children improve appeal performance by replacing broad outreach with precisely ranked donor segments.
