David Singleton is CEO and Co-Founder of /dev/agents, building the next-generation operating system for AI agents with backing from Index Ventures and CapitalG. He previously served as CTO at Stripe for seven years, where he oversaw engineering and design teams building economic infrastructure for the internet.

/dev/agents::David spent 11 years at Google as VP of Engineering, leading Android Wear, Google Fit, and coordinating over 15 hardware partnerships. He also worked at Symbian for three years developing mobile operating system software for Nokia and Samsung smartphones.

David holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge. He helped establish engineering hubs in Singapore, Dublin, and globally during his tenure at Stripe.

/dev/agents raised $56M in seed funding at a $500M valuation in November 2024. The company is backed by prominent investors including OpenAI co-founder Andrej Karpathy, Scale AI CEO Alexandr Wang, and Android founder Andy Rubin.

At Stripe, David grew the technology organization across the US and internationally, developing a product-minded engineering culture that served millions of businesses globally. He founded Android Wear at Google, creating one of the first wearable operating systems used by billions.
