Dr. Michael Keane is Co-Founder and Chief Science Officer at Evolve Neuro, a Dublin-based neurotechnology company pioneering objective, EEG-powered brain health assessments through their flagship product, NURA Scan.

Dr. Keane holds a PhD in Behavioural Neuroscience from the University of Galway, degrees in Psychology and Medicine, and spent over 25 years building EEG labs, founding Ireland's largest Neurofeedback Training and Psychology Clinic, and lecturing at University of Galway and Dublin City University.

Dr. Keane is a published researcher with upcoming clinical guidelines in Psychiatry Clinics of North America (2026) and is primary author for the 2025 global Psychology and Psychiatry syllabus, shaping the future of performance neuroscience education.

Beyond Evolve Neuro, Dr. Keane co-founded Actualise Academy in 2018, an online CPD-approved education platform that has influenced the lives of over 60,000 Irish students, and has delivered neuroscience programs for organisations including Google and elite sports teams across the Premier League, UFC, NFL, and Connacht Rugby.

Evolve Neuro raised a seed round of 1.6M EUR backed by SFC Capital, Enterprise Ireland, and Dublin City Council, with NURA Scan now launching to democratise access to preventative, objective brain health for everyone.
